- The Paper Chandelier was originally designed in 2005 by the design group Studio Job for the Dutch manufacturer of unique interiors Moooi. Featuring six lantern holders; the beautifully designed body is made from a high quality; durable; fibre glass. The old material of the light is made of timber and it will shrink; warp; cup; crown; twist; an swell; (caused by moisture/humidity) creative jointing. Fiberglass is a fiber reinforced polymer made of a plastic matrix reinforced by fine fibers of glass. It is an immensely versatile material which combines its light weight with an inherent strength to provide a weather resistant finish; with a variety of surface textures.
